Institute Overview

The Science of Strategy Institute (SOSI) is the world's leading membership organization dedicated to strategy. More than 100,000 individuals and organizations have used our products and programs. We have recently restructured our organization as a professional association. Our mission is to promote strategic knowledge, develop strategic skills, and teach "winning without conflict" to create better organizations and communities worldwide.

We champion the adaptive strategic principles of Sun Tzu's The Art of War and Boyd's OODA Loop. SOSI organizes this body of knowledge, develops training tools, and offers on-line and on-site education for our members. SOSI is a global organizations with branches throughout the world.

Our Founder

The Institute was founded by Gary Gagliardi, the world's leading authority on Sun Tzu and the use of classical strategy in today's world. An internationally known speaker, Gary has taught Sun Tzu's system of strategic awareness to some of the largest organizations in the world. Gary's award-winning books have been translated into languages around the world. Our Trainers

Our trainers come from a variety of backgrounds and have experience in a wide variety of business training methodologies. Several work as college professors as well as members of the Institute. What unites them is the dedication they share to promoting Sun Tzu's principles of winning without conflict. We have trainers promoting the principles and tools of strategy from Sun Tzu's The Art of War in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
