This article describes how our decisions often squander our limited resources. Most of us don't understand 1) what strategic resources are, 2) how they are limited, and 3) how they are consumed. Economic resources, such as money or property, make up only one of the five categories of strategic resources. Each category of resources is inherently limited, but they are limited in different ways. Some are consumed by using them. Others are multiplied by using them. Some are consumed by doing something. Others are consumed by doing nothing.
