This article explains the four main forms in which opportunity appears. The most important weapon in strategy is the human mind. The most important strategic space only exists in our mental mapping of the territory. Our biggest strategic challenge in evaluating opportunities is understanding the shape of this strategic space. As we move deeper into the information age, understanding the shape of our opportunities in psychological strategic space is virtually impossible without powerful analogies that connect to our sense of physical space.
