The most basic challenge in developing a contact networks goes back to the problem of information quantity versus quality. More contacts do not necessarily mean more complete information. In management, we talk about the limits a span of control. In using Warrior's Rules, we talk about the limits of our span of contact. Managers can only effectively manage a given number of people. In developing a contact network, we can only stay productively in touch with a limited number of people.
