This article explains that there is a trap hidden in thinking in about the cycles of action and reaction. As opponents react, they naturally consider how we expect or want them to react. So, in turn, before we act, we must consider not only how they will react but how they will think that we want or expect them to react. They, in turn, know that we are thinking about what they are thinking and that we are thinking about what they are thinking about what we are thinking. This becomes an infinite loop of indecision and stasis.
