This article explains that when we choose to pursue a specific opportunity, we must narrow our focus. The danger is that as we are deciding on a specific move to pursue that activity, we can narrow our focus even further. Without realizing it, we are putting blinders on so that we cannot see where we are going. We can restrict ourselves to a such a narrow path that we decrease our chance of discovering how to make that opportunity pay.
